This rug hook is made out of an exotic wood called Toon.  Lovely wood it is rather peachy - rosey colored.  Quite different!  Toon wood is from Hawaii.  It is very smooth & warm.  Nice to hook with.  The thumb slot is cut out & it comes in either fine or primitive.  Made in Indiana.
